# Admin Delete Page

> Soft-delete a page and cascade to its sections.

Deleting the page that is the hub's sole effective homepage is rejected
(409, `homepage_unset_would_orphan_hub`) — either the typed "custom"
descriptor, or the legacy is_homepage-flag fallback on a hub with no
descriptor set. This used to succeed and silently leave the hub with no
homepage; set a different page as home first, then delete this one.
