# Get Event Detail Anon

> One event on a public hub, readable without signing in.

404 — never 403 — when the event may not be read anonymously, so a
segment-restricted event is indistinguishable from one that does not
exist.

Carries the same sanitized fields as the public list: no join or
location URL, no add-to-calendar link, no contact identifiers, no
attendee list.

JSON:API resource object for an anon-readable event.

        Shape mirrors ``app.hub_events.schemas.HubEventResource`` exactly --
same ``type`` value, same envelope trio below -- so an anon client and a
member client parse the same document structure and only the attribute
set differs. Hand-rolled rather than built on the generic
``JsonApi*`` helpers for one concrete reason: those declare their links
object with a ``self_`` field aliased to ``self``, which serializes back
as ``self_`` unless every call site remembers ``by_alias=True``. The
member events envelopes already avoid that trap the same way.
